RUSLAN RUSSIAN LEVELS
This page will give links to documents that detail the different levels of the Ruslan Russian course in relation to the Council of Europe's definitions of levels for adult learners of languages.

Ruslan Russian 1 is equivalent to the Council of Europe's level A1 and in most respects is slightly higher. The Council describes this level as follows:
The learner “can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help”.

Ruslan Russian 2 is equivalent to the Council of Europe's level A2 and in most respects is higher.
Ruslan Russian 3 is equivalent to the Council of Europe's levels B1 and B2.
